EVENT ACTIVITIES

Order of Events:

• Midday onwards – patrons start to secure position along the route

• 4.00pm - Road closures in place

• 7.30pm - Pageant begins

• 9.30pm - Pageant concludes

The parade has around 90 pageant groups ranging from dancers, vehicles, bands, fire twirlers and costume characters. Although there are no fireworks there will be fire canons at the start of the parade.

For people with sensory sensitivities remember to bring earplugs or sound cancelling headphones if you have them as the parade music will be loud. We recommend thinking of alternative quiet location options for anyone who needs quite time away from the noise and the crowds.
