Where can I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets here. Tickets are free of charge. There are a limited number of tickets available due to COVID-19 restrictions.
When are tickets on sale?
General Public tickets will be on sale from 09.00 on Friday 20th November.
Do I need to register for a ticket?
Yes, due to COVID-19 regulations and the importance of contact tracing it is necessary for the 2020 Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant to be a ticketed event. If you do not have a ticket then you will not be permitted entry into the event precinct. Once again, ticket numbers are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Can I purchase a ticket on the day?
To comply with local COVID-19 regulations the event precinct has a capacity. We anticipate tickets will sell out before the event day so we encourage you to purchase your ticket as soon as possible.
What is the ticket limit?
Each adult (16+) will be able to purchase up to 10 tickets.
How will I receive my ticket?
You will receive an e-ticket via email after completing the registration process. Please load the e-ticket on your mobile phone ready to be scanned at the venue. You are also welcome to download and print your ticket.
Can I leave and come back?
There will be no pass outs of the perimeter gates, but you are welcome to leave your designated spectator zone to access the Family Fun Zone for food and refreshments. You will be presented with a wristband at your spectator zone exit to allow entry back in.
I’ve purchased tickets, but I'm no longer able to attend. Can I give my tickets to someone else?
Yes you can update the ticket holder details on Eventbrite after you have booked.
Which gate should I enter through?
Gate A: Zones 1, 18 and 19
Gate B: Zones 2, 3 and 4
Gate C: Zones 5 and 6
Gate D: Zones 7, 8 and 9
Gate E: Zones 11, 12 and 13
Gate F: Zones 14 and 15
Gate G: Zones 16 and 17
Do I have to enter through the gate allocated to my zone?
Yes, this is the quickest route to your spectator zone and it will allow us to manage the flow of people at each gate. If you arrive at the wrong gate you will be asked to find the correct gate allocated to your spectator zone.
Will there be food and refreshments available for purchase?
Yes, food trucks & ice cream vans will be available in the Family Fun Zone.
Am I able to bring my own food and refreshments?
Of course. Please make sure to dispose of your rubbish in the recycling and general waste bins provided or take it home with you. Please avoid bringing glass into the event precinct and please note you are attending an Alcohol Free event.
Is a storage area available?
No, you will need to keep your belongings with you at all times. Please only bring the essentials.
Will the pageant still go ahead in bad weather?
We will make every effort for the pageant to proceed with the safety of our participants and spectators coming first.
Will First Aid services be available?
Yes, first aid services will be located throughout the event precinct.
Is the event precinct smoke free?
Yes, you will not be permitted to smoke inside the event precinct.
Can I bring a pram?
Yes, prams are permitted access.
What should I wear?
Please take a look at the weather forecast in the days leading up to the Pageant and dress accordingly. The spectator zones are in an exposed area.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately not, please leave your pets at home. Assistance dogs are exempted.
Will public transport be operation as usual?
Yes, regular Saturday public bus and train schedules will be operating as usual. A schedule of public buses operating in the Free Transit Zone on Saturday night will be made available on the event website closer to the event date.
Is parking available?
There are several parking options close by in City of Perth Parking locations. Please locate the best car park for you here: https://www.cityofperthparking.com.au/. Also, City of Perth are offering 3P Free Parking at His Majesty’s Car Park, Cultural Centre Car Park and Pier Street Car Park throughout December.
Will there be ACROD parking?
ACROD parking is available in each of the City of Perth Parking car parks.
Do I need to allow additional time travelling to the event?
Please check the bus and train timetables before you leave home so that you allow enough time to enter the event precinct before 19.00. Elizabeth Quay is the closest train station and is roughly 20 minutes walk to Langley Park.
If I am feeling unwell, should I still attend the pageant?
Please do not attend the Pageant if you:
Have tested positive for COVID-19 or are waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test
You have been required to self-isolate or quarantine
You are experiencing flu-like symptoms
Will physical distancing be enforced at the event?
Yes, please maintain a minimum of 1.5m distance from others inside and outside of the event precinct.
How can I be COVID safe?
Practice physical distancing (1.5m) at all times when inside and outside of the event precinct including: on entrance, within the spectator zones, queuing for toilets, amusement rides or food vendors and while exiting the precinct.
Use the hand sanitiser and hand wash facilities available
Listen to the guidance of the COVID Safety Marshals who will be roaming the event precinct
Comply with any announcements made by the Public Address system

Will my personal details be shared?
In the event that a confirmed COVID-19 case is traced to the 2020 Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant, the information collected from all ticket holders will be passed to the Department of Heal
